Farm Fingers - Hayley Sabella

E' con grande orgoglio che mi accingo a recensire la prima raccolta di canzoni della mia cugina statunitense : Hayley Sabella.
Hayley vive a Plymouth, nel Massachusetts, figlia di musicisti, il padre Ken professore di lingue ,da sempre nutre una profonda passione per la musica che ha trasmesso ai quattro figli. L'estate scorsa ospiti a casa mia organizzammo una piccola session dove Ken al piano la moglie Valerie al canto e il figlio più piccolo Gabriel alla chitarra, un piccolo spettacolo in famiglia in cui ci divertimmo molto. Ma è Hayley a spiccare il volo. Quattro brani per un eccellente debutto. Impossibile non emozionarsi nell'ascoltare la sua soave e dolcissima voce. Già dalla bellissima e allegra "Idealism" Hayley ci contagia di un'allegria disarmante, basta chiudere gli occhi per immaginare praterie e bimbi che giocano allegramente tra i mille colori della natura. L'originale intro di "Farm Fingers" ci desta dall'incanto e ci proietta in un' incantevole realtà. Mentre la dolcissima "Knobly Nooden Treetrunks" è un'ammaliante nenia che sprigiona quel senso di spensieratezza rilassata che dovremmo ricercare tutti almeno un momento durante le nostre giornate. "Easter Song" è invece una gradevole , malinconica song che chiude con grazia questo splendido debutto in EP. Se queste sono le premesse mia cugina avrà un radioso avvenire discografico.

It is with great pride that I am going to review the first collection of songs from my cousin U.S.: Hayley Sabella.
Hayley lives in Plymouth, Massachusetts, daughter of musicians, the father Ken professor of languages, has always felt a deep passion for music that sent four children. Last summer guests in my home we organized a small session on the floor where Ken's wife Valerie singing and her youngest son Gabriel on guitar, a little show for the family where we had a great time. But Hayley is to fly. Four songs for an excellent debut. Impossible not to get excited in listening to his gentle and sweet voice. Already from the beautiful and cheerful "Idealism" Hayley fills us with a joy disarming, just close your eyes to imagine grasslands and children playing happily among the many colors of nature. The original intro to "Farm Fingers" awakens us from the spell and propels us into a 'really enchanting. While the sweet "Knobly Nooden Treetrunks" is a bewitching song that gives off that sense of carefree relaxed that we should all seek at least one time during our days. "Easter Song" is instead a pleasant, melancholy song that closes with grace this stunning debut EP. If these are the conditions my cousin will have a bright future album.
